Professeur en Economie InternationaleThe Department of Economics of the Université catholique of Louvain seeks to fill a full-time faculty position (tenure track or tenured) in international economics. We are particularly interested in applications from scholars with a research specialization in international trade. The ideal candidate will have a strong research record and/or will demonstrate a high potential in research. Special consideration will be given to applicants who have both theoretical and empirical skills. Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. or be near completion. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a strong research program in his(her) area of specialization, provide high quality teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and supervise graduate student research. Candidates should note that courses are taught mainly in French but also in English. Fluency in French at the time of application is not required to be considered for the position; however, the ability to teach in French is valued.
