Janvier 2009 : la Chaire membre de la Plate-forme de l'Agence Européenne des droits fondamentaux
Un nouveau réseau d'expertise pour soutenir les travaux de l'Agence Européenne pour les droits fondamentaux, créée en 2007 et localisée à Vienne.
The Fundamental Rights Platform (FRP) is a network for cooperation and information exchange, set to act as the main channel for Fundamental Rights European Agency (FRA) 's cooperation with civil society and to ensure a close cooperation between the Agency and relevant stakeholders. The specific tasks of the Platform are:
* to make suggestions on the Annual Work Programme In addition, the Agency will interact with the participants of the Fundamental Rights Platform in accordance with specific needs related to areas identified as a priority for the Agency's work. The objective of the Agency itself is to provide the relevant institutions and authorities of the Community and its Member States when implementing Community law with assistance and expertise relating to fundamental rights in order to support them when they take measures or formulate courses of action within their respective spheres of competence to fully respect fundamental rights. (Article 2 of the Regulation). The Agency is NOT empowered to examine individual complaints. Tasks * Information and data collection, research and analysis; |
