This multicultural Welcome Party was a huge success!
Following a warm welcome speech by UCL's Vice Rector to Students Affairs, Prof Didier Lambert, a few words by the Community Help service, the CGEE (International Student Council), the students' union, and various student's housegroups, some cultural and practical initiatives were presented, such as seminars in computer sciences throughout the year, etc. Then everyone was allowed to taste some of the delicious culinary specialties prepared by the students themselves - to the sound of live music!
Excellent recipe for a very successful evening! Thanks to all of you, to the CGEE, the Community Help service, all the MAHEVA scholars who helped to decorate the party room and to the various students' houseteams ('kots à projet') who cooked, baked, prepared drinks and appetizers, played music, etc. ensuring a wonderful multicultural evening at UCL, Brussels! composant_phototheque 394066
