Description :
This large research team is the UCL node of an interuniversity research network funded by the Belgian Federal Government, of which P. Van Dooren is the coordinator. The research activities cover a broad range of fundamental and applied problems within the discipline of systems and control, with a main focus on the computational aspects of these problems. They are organized in workpackages along the following topics: numerical linear algebra and solution of large scale problems, control and optimization, modelling and dynamics of networks, modelling and complexity of discrete dynamics, system identification, modelling and control in chemical and biochemical reactions and in biomedical systems.
