Research

  • Overall research interests: understanding and manipulating  the link between structure of macro/supra-molecular systems and their structural, functional and dynamic properties.

 

  • Current topics :
    • Influence of molecular distribution and architecture of model macro- and supramolecular systems on dynamics in the melt. Combination of rheological experimental and mesoscopic modeling  approaches. Link to adhesives and self-healing materials.
    • Structure and properties of nanocomposites.
      • Nanofillers of interest : carbon nanotubes, halloysite clay nanotubes, nanosilica.
      • Properties of interest : mechanical and rheological properties; thermal stability and fire resistance; electrical and electromagnetic properties, metamaterial properties.
    • Structural composites : synergistic influence of thermoplastics and nanofillers in high performance thermoset resins.

 

  • Author of 120 refereed articles, 5 book chapters, 42 proceedings of major international conferences and 20 patents

Research
