How to reach the laboratory?

You are now in Louvain-la-Neuve

- by train

Take the stairs to the surface. The steep street to your left (Rue des Wallons) will lead you to Place des Wallons, to Place des Sciences and then to Croix du Sud.
Having arrived at Croix du Sud, look for the buildings marked BOLTZMANN (A), building n° 1. Our laboratory (CIFA) is on floor A0.

- by car

1. From Brussels

Take the highway E411 (Bruxelles/Brussel - Namur/Namen - Luxembourg). Leave the highway at exit n° 8a marked "Louvain-la-Neuve centre". At the round about at the exit of the highway turn left (270°) in direction to Gembloux (N4). Leave this road just before the next round-about, turning to your right (direction "Biéreau, Bruyères" - boulevard Baudoin Ier"). Once you are on Boulevard Baudouin 1er, after about 200 meters take the first street to your right (Avenue G. Lemaître) and then immediately the first street to your left (Avenue Théodore Schwann). Head for Parking n° 12. Having arrived Parking 12, look for the buildings marked BOLTZMANN (A), building n° 1. Our laboratory (CIFA) is on floor A0.

2. From Namur

Take the highway E411 ((Namur - Bruxelles)). Leave it at exit n° 9 "Corroy - le - Grand, Louvain-la-Neuve". Turn to your left. You are on the road N25. After about 1 km you reach a round-about; take to your right (direction "Wavre"). You are now on road N4. Pass one round-about. At the next round-about turn 270° (Biéreau - Bruyères" - avenue Baudouin Ier. Once you are on Boulevard Baudouin 1er, after about 200 meters take the first street to your right (Avenue G. Lemaître) and then immediately the first street to your left (Avenue Théodore Schwann). Head for Parking n° 12. Having arrived Parking 12, look for the buildings marked BOLTZMANN (A), building n° 1. Our laboratory (CIFA) is on floor A0.

3. From Mons, Paris

Take the highway A7 - E19 - E42. After passing exit 21, keep the direction "Bruxelles - Nivelles" i.e. A7 - E19 (instead of E42 to Liège - Charleroi). Leave the highway at the exit 19 "Nivelles - Sud, Wavre". At the traffic lights, turn to the right, direction "Wavre". You are now on the road R24 getting round Nivelles by the south (7 km). Follow the main direction to reach the highway N25 a few km after leaving Nivelles. Follow this highway (about 20 km); do not take the first Louvain-la-Neuve exit; drive until you reach (km 24.6) a round-about which is the crossing between roads N25 and N4. Take the direction "Wavre - Sud, Louvain-la-Neuve" on the road N4 (270° on the round-about). You are now on road N4. Pass one round-about (180°). At the next round-about turn 270° (direction "Biereau, Bruyères" - Boulevard Baudouin 1er). Once you are on Boulevard Baudouin 1er, after about 200 meters take the first street to your right (Avenue G. Lemaître) and then immediately the first street to your left (Avenue Théodore Schwann). Head for Parking n° 12. Having arrived Parking 12, look for the buildings marked BOLTZMANN (A), building n° 1. Our laboratory (CIFA) is on floor A0.
