UCL - Center for Operations Research and Econometrics

The Center for Operations Research and Econometrics (CORE) is a research center of the Université catholique de Louvain (UCL), located in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium). It is recognized as a leading interdisciplinary research institute in the fields of economic theory, game theory, operations research and econometrics. It has developed expertise in general equilibrium, public economics, political economics, industrial organization, economic geography, economics of information, financial econometrics, integer programming as well as convex and large scale optimization.

CORE was founded in 1966. Today, it houses about 30 professors and 120 pre- and postdoctoral researchers.
