Payments: warranty and rent

Tenants have to pay their warranty when they sign the lease contract. The rider of the lease provides additional information on this issue.

Rents are due monthly. Your first rent has to be paid 5 days before the beginning of your lease term. Afterwards, your rent has to be paid before the first day of each month. Please consult the rider of the lease for additional information. Upon the signing of your contract, you will also receive a document describing the specific and personalised payment procedure that applies to you.

Paying your rent: how?

If you have a Belgian bank account:

Payment by banker's order is the method we recommend. It involves no additional costs and guarantees that your rent is always paid on time, not too late nor too early. The department of the Accommodation Office that manages the contracts can provide you with a special form that will allow your bank to arrange for us to automatically debit the payment each month. 

Standing order: you can also ask your banker (before the start of your contract), to arrange an automatic bank transfer to our bank account every month on a fixed date with mention of the communication structurée personnelle. The communication structurée is indicated on your lease contract and consists of a series of numbers separated by slashes: ***/****/*****. If you choose this option, you will have to pay the electricity bills separately. These will be deposited in the letter box of your flat every two months.

Self-banking, phone-banking, internet or bank transfer are alternative ways to pay your rent and require that you effect the payment yourself each month (at the correct date ...). You will also have to pay the electricity bill that will be sent to you every two months. When making the transfer, you must indicate the communication structurée (see explanation above) that is indicated on your lease contract. Our bank account number is 310-1145300-10.
