Education

During the academic year, the following courses are given in connection with consumer law at the Université catholique de Louvain: consumer law, competition law, the laws of electronic communications, institutional aspects of consumer protection. These courses are open to non students. Information can be obtained on demand.

A summer course has been organized a dozen of times on European Consumer Law (55 hours of courses and seminars). This summer course was meant for undertakings, civil servants, consumer organizations, advocates, magistrates, researchers, professors and students wishing to specialize in these areas.

Specialized seminars have also been organized at the request of given people or institutions.

Specific training programs have been proposed in third countries: Roumania (1996); Turkey (1998); Med-Campus, Phare ou Tacis programs.
