Degree:
I recently finished my Phd in social psychology in Grenoble University and was workint with Prof. Fabrizio Butera from Lausanne University.
Research domains
My research in mainly concerned with decision making in groups and interpersonal relations. I am interested in investigating group decision making within a motivated information processing approach. My research is based on the premise that, within the group, specific goals like competition motivate group members to strategically share and use their information leading to poor decision quality. Our results show that biases identified in information sharing and use does not reflectdysfunctional processing of information, but rather fulfills social functions.
I am also interested in exploring the role of social projection, illusion of transparecy and empathic gap in decision making within the context of interdependence dilemmas and negotiation.
