Research

IRES promotes fundamental research and applied research in economics. Research activities rely on various tools such as pure theoretical models, general equilibrium, computational economics and calibration methods, econometrics, case studies, historical analyses, etc.

They are mainly organized around four domains:

    1. Research in macroeconomics
    2. Labor economics, social policies and evaluation,
    3. Research in international economics,
    4. Research on interdisciplinary topics.

A detailed description of each area of research can be found in the appropriate sections.

We encourage our staff members to publish influential articles in leading international journals. Hence, we keep record of the number of publications, citations and presentations of our staff members. The Research Director’s Annual Report provides a detailed description of our academic output and scientific impact.
