Possibility of adapted housing

Many types of housing are available for impaired students.
There are also student digs, the objective of which is helping the impaired or ill student in the carrying out of certain tasks connected to daily life and in creating a cheerful atmosphere at the heart of the student digs.

Various units of UCL concerned

The student secretariat, the social service, the centre for information and orientation (CIO), the housing unit (LOGE), etc.

Role of the various student societies

AGL (General Assembly of Louvain students), Organe (umbrella organization of students projects), GCL and Fédé.

Several kinds of help

The Assistance Unit for UCL students works with external organizations with the aim of ensuring better assistance to impaired students in their daily lives : CPAS (social service – family help service), ONA (National assistance to blind people), Exception (open-door service accompanying impaired people), Understanding and Talking (“Comprendre et Parler”: center for functional re-education of the hard-to-hear).
