The Université catholique de Louvain is looking for a full-time specialist in
Electronic circuits and mixed analog-digital systems
|
The successful candidate will carry out research in the field of electronic circuits and mixed analog/digital systems. This field emerges from the fast evolution of fabrication techniques and of circuit architectures. This enables the concurrent or co-design of new systems involving from their inception, both analog and digital functions. To open and optimize new application paths, such a combination must lie on innovative design methodologies and tools which should drive research as well as teaching.
The successful candidate will have
- to cooperate with the various teams active in linked areas in the ICTEAM ((Institute for Information and Communication Technology, Electronics and Applied Mathematics) Institute and more broadly in the Sector of Sciences and Technologies of UCL (e.g. technology, sensors, MEMS, circuits, signal processing, communication, biomedical engineering);
- to develop a research program targeted towards the implementation of electronic circuits and mixed systems;
- to develop design methodologies and tools, in particular in the biomedical area. The biomedical area can widely benefit from the researches carried out about electronic circuits combining physiological sensors, control and measurement interfaces, signal or data processing and communication circuits, all miniaturized and “green” from the energy viewpoint.
The successful candidate will have teaching assignments in the above-mentioned field within the various degree programmes organised by the Louvain School of Engineering (EPL).
