The present bibliography is the successor of the
• Répertoire bibliographique de la philosophie
appeared quarterly since May 1934
as a supplement of the Revue néoscolastique de philosophie
(renamed Revue philosophique de Louvain, in 1946),
and of the
• Bibliografisch Repertorium van de Wijsbegeerte
appeared as part of the Tijdschrift voor Filosofie, since 1939.
From 1991 to 2008, it is published by the Institut Supérieur de Philosophie (Université Catholique de Louvain) and the Hoger Instituut voor Wijsbegeerte (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven) as a single publication with three titles: International Philosophical Bibliography -- Répertoire bibliographique de la philosophie -- Bibliografisch Repertorium van de Wijsbegeerte.
From 2009, the Bibliography is published by the Institut Supérieur de Philosophie (UCL) alone and has now simply two titles:
International Philosophical Bibliography
Répertoire bibliographique de la philosophie
