Following the Université catholique de Louvain’s initiative, an international and multidisciplinary conference entitled ‘Organisational Communication and Environment: Evolution of Approaches and Change of Practices’ will take place in Brussels on November 18 and 19, 2010. The conference intends to allow researchers who are working on organisational environmental communication to present their results. They will also compare their point of views on modalities and practices of the environmental discourse held by companies and associations with the view of professionals of communication.

After the inventory of present practices, researchers and professionals specialized in communication will try to analyze 'green communication’ under different perspectives. Why? How? What values? For what results? From the modification of the logo to the relation with employees along with the creation of indicators to sanction unethical practices, all of the connections, strategies and implications will be closely examined.

The papers from the conference will be published in a special issue of the scientific review ‘Recherches en communication’.
