Models and Methods of Quantitative Economics - UCL/Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne

 

 

Within the framework of the QEM master programme (QEM website), UCL and the University Paris 1 - Panthéon Sorbonne have decided to develop further their co-operation and to organize a joint programme in Models and Methods in Quantitative Economics.

 

The programme

The first year of the programme takes place in Paris 1 and is devoted to the foundation courses in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Probability, Statistics and Mathematics.

The second year of the programme takes place at UCL and is devoted to specialization in Macroeconomics, Theoretical and Applied Microeconomics, Finance, Mathematical Economics, Econometrics, and research pursuant to the Master Dissertation.

  • capabilities appreciated both by the job market and by PhD recruiters
  • students spend their first year in Paris and the second in Belgium

Mobility grants

For this programme, UCL has a funding from Wallonie-Bruxelles International (WBI) to help its students in their mobility (contact the International affairs coordinator for further details).

The Master in Economics, general, receives the UCL label "International Master" recognizing the work done by the School of Economics in the internationalization of its Masters programmes. As a direct consequence, the Master will appear in the UCL Study programme on a special webpage devoted to all programmes having received this label.
