FIELDS OF EXPERTISE

Cell culture systems (animal cells) to investigate physiological biochemistry and pharmaco-toxicological topics:

  • mechanisms by which nutrients, xenobiotics or drugs interact with the human intestinal barrier; application to food safety;
  • mechanisms by which polymeric nanoparticles could be targeted to the surface of intestinal M cells to favor their transcytosis; application to mucosal vaccination.
