Note: Only applicants with a thesis-based doctorate¹ could apply.

To submit an application for a faculty position at the UCL, please

1. Complete the application form (no more available), which is available online, ticking the box “Compte Invité”, without password – Help in completing the form.
2. At step 4 of this form, upload your application file according to the following instructions:

• All pages should be contained in a single pdf file
• The file should be named as follows: job reference_SURNAME_first name.pdf - Example for the vacancy in Political Science: 411_MARCQ_Christine.pdf
• Your file will not be considered unless it contains the following:

• A letter of application
• Full curriculum vitae stating SURNAME-first names-job reference-date-page number at the top of each page
• a complete publications list and abstracts of 3 of your recent key publications
• a text of about 3500 characters describing the research project the applicant wishes to carry out in the coming years
• a text of about 3500 characters describing the teaching approaches the applicant wishes to implement (lectures, assignments, distance learning, active learning, …). The applicant will specify pedagogical issues that he/she considers important
• a copy of the PhD final degree
• three letters of recommendation from internationally renowned scientists, non-UCL staff.
