Tim MEIJERS, doctoral student at the Chaire Hoover, was awarded the J.C. Baakprijs 2011 for a Master thesis in political science at the University of Amsterdam (Legitimacy, International Criminal Courts and Citizenship, 2010). The prize is awarded every second year by the Koninklijke Hollandsche Maatschappij voor de Wetenschappen to a thesis it considers particularly "relevant to the peaceful cohabitation of different peoples".
