Outgoing students
The master degrees in 120 ECTS offer the opportunity to get an international experience. Different exchange programs exist:
-
One-week intensive courses in the ATHEN or BEST framework. This kind of course corresponds to 2 ECTS in the student's curriculum.
-
To discover another culture, another language, students should apply for longer exchanges programs (Erasmus, Mercator, etc.). The students will stay in Louvain-la-Neuve during the first year of his master degree. The second year will be partly or totally spent abroad. If the student apply for a one-year stay, he has to find a co-supervisor for his master's thesis in the partner institution.
-
We also offer dual master degrees with the following universities:
Dual master degrees are joint programs where the student spends one year in each of two different universities and obtains a diploma from both institutions.
No exchange program is available for the master degree in 60 ECTS.

Some reasons for choosing to study computer science at UCL :
-
because of its master programs are in English;
-
because you may also practice French with other students;
-
because it is the only partner (jointly with KULeuven) in the Cluster network;
-
because it is possible to take courses outside computer science as UCL is a full university (ex. Economics; Management; Communication; Applied Sciences; etc.) ;
-
and finally because you will have a truly international experience on our city/campus.
The UCL has exchange agreements with many universities in Europe and all over the world. You should check this with your university.
