RESEARCH OVERVIEW

  • Multidisciplinary approach of interfacial phenomena in the context of biomaterials science: study of organic surfaces, of protein adsorption on these surfaces, and of cell behavior as a function of the material properties and of the adsorbed layer organisation
  • Study of the organization and the physico-chemical properties of surfaces at the nanometer scale, by use and development of scanning probe microscopies
  • Surface characterization and modification; knowledge of the main tools of surface analysis (chemical analysis by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, study of wetting properties, determination of electrical properties,...)
