Moens A.

• Prof. A. Moens is scientist in the research group involved in the maturation and cryoconservation of gametes and the development of bovine preimplantation embryos.  Doctor in veterinary Medicine (University of Liège,1985), Bioingineer degree (Université catholique de Louvain, 1989), PhD in Biology (INRA and Université catholique de Louvain, 1994).  Associate professor at the UCL (1996).
• A. Moens is currently professor of comparative anatomy of domestic animals and comparative embryology of domestic animals in the department of Biology of UCL.

Fields of expertise: 

• Micromanipulations of early embryos (mouse, rabbit and bovine)
• ES cells culture and production
• In vitro production of bovine embryos
