Mind & Market forum : 3 prices go to ICTEAM/INGI
Winning projects are Djengo (Best start-up company), ListMinut (Best project in development) and LeanBoard, a new startup that won free participation to one of the Microsoft Innovation Center boostcamp events.
Djengo, represented by two former SINF computer science students (Tanguy Goretti and David Jeusette) and for the occasion accompanied by two current SINF computer science students (Loïc Vigneron and Thibault Poncelet), is an innovative platform to help organizing carpooling commuting in enterprises. With the price of the best start-up company they won 15 square meters of free office space during a period of 6 months in the "Centre d'Entreprise et d'Innovation" at Louvain-la-Neuve, as well as a free follow-up during this period.
ListMinut is the working title of the software product and company that Sébastien Scoumanne, a SINF master student in Software Engineering and CPME, is currently developing together with three fellow students (Jean Meeùs, Alexis Safarikas and Jonathan Schockaert) in the context of their CPME graduation thesis. ListMinut is a web application that allows anyone to place requests about personal household or other jobs that he or she cannot or doesn't have time to accomplish, and have them performed instead by other people against some monetary compensation. ListMinut won the award for "Best project in development" which provides them free access to the Autumn training session on "Innover et Entreprendre", organised by the CEI, as well as 6 months of post-training support. In addition, the project also gained favor with the jury of the Microsoft Innovation Center, which offered them a free participation to one of boostcamps they organize. LeanBoard is a new startup on which two ICTEAM/INGI researchers are working (notably Antoine Cailliau and Simon van der Linden) and for which they also won a free participation to one of the Microsoft Innovation Center boostcamp events. LeanBoard is an online secure platform that helps entrepreneurs improve strategic interactions with their investors and advisors. The main objective is to allow startups and companies to take the best decision with their advisory board anytime, anywhere.
