Admission procedure

1. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
  • complete the online application form available here

University:          Université catholique de Louvain - Louvain-la-Neuve (UCL).
Field of studies:   Sciences économiques et de gestion (Economics and Management).
Study program:   ECGE3D Doctorat en sciences économiques et de gestion. 

  • a complete CV including:
    · personal information (name, citizenship,·)
    · mailing address and possibly telephone/fax
    · e-mail address (absolutely necessary)
    · university degrees
    · list of publications
    · possible professional experience
  • official transcripts giving year by year the courses followed and the results obtained
  • a description of the Master courses followed including text book references
  • a copy of your work and publications
  • a report detailing your motivations, objectives and research project
  • 2 letters of recommendation in sealed envelopes
  • a certificate or test result showing your level of English (TOEFL, IELTS, etc.). UCL department of economics TOEFL institution code is 4169
  • GRE "Graduate Record Examinations" (required for non EU degree holders otherwise recommended). Institution code 4169
  • 2 certified copies of all your diplomas and certificates with a translation in French, English or Spanish if they are not in French, Dutch, English, Spanish, Italian or Portuguese
  • official certificates of your jobs, trainings, studies ... since the date of your first university degree
  • a citizenship certificate (or copy of passport)

Documents mailed to the Doctoral Commission will be forwarded to the UCL admissions office for further processing. You do not need to mail them to both places.
