The Bologna reform as it is implemented in the UCL offers great adaptation possibilities to each student. Most bachelor programs offer students the opportunity to open their curriculum to another center of interest : a minor. What is a minor? A minor is a consistent set of 30 ECTS credits in a field other than that of the student's main curriculum. It offers a formation to widen one's outlook and acquire complementary skills. The 30 ECTS credits are spread of the last 2 years of the 1st cycle. Minors in computer science Two minors in computer science are offered according to the student's main curriculum.

This minor gives access to the master in computer science engineering. But students must recover during the master the courses of the major that they don't follow in the minor. MINSINF This minor contains 2 variants, one for the bachelors in mathematics the other for the other UCL bachelors. This minor gives access to the master in computer science although a few courses will be added to the master program. The admission is carried out by file with a 20 students quota. The criteria will be the preliminary level of training of the student as well as the relevance of the integration of this minor in his global training project.
