Masters in Management (60)

Objectives

The Masters in Management (60) of the Louvain School of Management (LSM) covers essentials of basic management in one year course. It is a specific program for young university graduates who wish to enrich a previous education acquired in another field (sciences, law, psychology …).

At the end of his education, student should be able to deal with management problems, to use methods adapted to solve them, to decide adequately, to place the whole reasoning in the economic, social and institutional environment of organizations.

The master in management targets mainly students having already a first master, wanting to add a complement in management to their education just after their first graduation.

To satisfy adults having already a professional experience in addition to their master, this master is also offered in a part-time scheduling, taught at the evening, spread over two years course.

Courses are taught in French. Applicants must have successfully completed prerequisite courses in mathematics, statistics and political economy otherwise these courses are added to his program.

Program structure

The program is structured in four parts:

1. Core courses for 30 credits, i.e. 6 courses representing the bases of management
2. A formation in principles and questions in corporate social responsibility, an essential value at the Louvain School of Management
3. Two elective courses to dig deeper in some fields of management (among 5)
4. A final master paper (TFE) and an integrative seminar
