The Basic Income Earth Network was founded in 1986 as the Basic Income European Network. It expanded its scope from Europe to the Earth in 2004.

> Basic Income Income Studies
The first issue (June 2006) of this new electronic journal edited by two former Hoover Fellows includes an article by Yannick Vanderborght on basic income and the Trade Unions and a retrospective on van der Veen and Van Parijs's "A Capitalist Road to Communism", which triggered the international debate on basic income twenty years ago. All articles are downloable from BIS's site.
 
 
 
> Renda Basica de Cidadania
Après les éditions française et allemande, une édition portugaise de l'introduction à l'allocation universelle de Yannick Vanderborght et Philippe Van Parijs vient de paraître (avec une préface d'Eduardo Suplicy). Une édition espagnole est également prévue pour l'automne (Barcelona: Paidos, 2006), et une édition italienne est en préparation (Milano: Bocconi).
