Research
The researching activity of the unit is focused on the optimisation of the intervention in human motor activity. It attempts to answer to a number of questions daily faced by the protagonists:
- How is physical education teached ?
- How is this course integrated in the curriculum ?
- How do teachers take social representation of physical education into account ?
- How do pupils learn in classes ?
- How do children learn in free situation ?
Numerous contacts and co-operations met the departments EDUC (PSP), COMU (ESPO), ROM (FLTR) of the UCL, the physical education section of the Laval University (framework agreement), FLOK-KUL, IUFM in Montpellier and the Belgian Institute for road safety helps to achieve these objectives.
The unit also actively participates in work initiated by GIRSEF and GRIFED (founder member) and gets involved in learned companies as ACAPS, AFRAPS and ARIS (founder member).
Convention with GRIEP of the Laval University regarding “Optimisation of intervention in human motor activity”.
Expertise by an international group emerging from ARIS – Researching association on sports intervention (Gh. Carlier, executive vice president) of CUFOCEP continuing vocational training (June 2002).
