Institut de Statistique, Biostatistique et Sciences Actuarielles

In January 2010, the Institute of Statistics and the Institute of Actuarial Sciences joined to create the Institut de Statistique, Biostatistique et Sciences Actuarielles (ISBA).

The Institute of Statistics promotes, stimulates and coordinates numerous activities related to Statistics at the Université catholique de Louvain.

The Actuarial Sciences Institute develops teaching and research in actuarial sciences.

ISBA collaborates with the technological platform SMCS and with LSBA .

Together with CORE and IRES, ISBA forms the "Institut de recherche multidisciplinaire pour la modélisation et l'analyse quantitative"  IMMAQ.
