Aybüke Taşer holds B.Arch. from Yasar University and M.Sc. degree in Architecture and Building Physics from Izmir Institute of Technology, where she initiated the first steps of her academic career. Taşer has several publications in indexed journals, conference proceedings, and symposiums. Her works focus on computational intelligence, building performance simulation, and optimization; she is currently a researcher in the SUSHY project as part of her Ph.D. studies at Université catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain). She is specifically interested in assessing the relevance between hybrid work and building performance as the main focus of her doctoral thesis.
