Content
This seminar is intended for students in the Political Communication and Democratic Risks programme.
It focuses on the research process in the context of dissertation work.
Teaching methods
Tutoring is based on an interactive system of exchanges and discussions.
For each session, students are expected to read and be able to present and discuss one or more scientific articles, demonstrating their contribution to their dissertation project and the progress of their thinking in this regard.
Evaluation methods
Session 1
Individual work including:
•A substantial state-of-the-art review that provides a better understanding of the field of research and the subject matter, as well as the student's theoretical position.
•A clear and precise formulation of the issue linked to the research question.
•A presentation of the methodological approach (research protocol) that is as precise as possible.
In addition, an oral defence (presentation) is also planned, which will validate the first stage of the dissertation as part of the monitoring process carried out by the CORIS team, which brings together the three institutions.
Session 2
In case of failure in the first session, the work required must be redone and improved for the second session.
