This seminar focuses on preparing and drafting a grant proposal. Based on seminar sessions, individual exercises, face-to-face interviews and a workshop, students are guided through the main steps of the preparation of a doctoral scholarship application.

Evaluation methods
The final grade includes: (i) Reading assignments and related exercises, including active and informed participation to seminar discussions (continuous evaluation - 25%); (ii) Drafting of a grant proposal, including drafts of research proposal following guidelines during the semester and workshop participation (continuous evaluation - 25%); (iii) Final full research proposal and end-of-the semester audition (50%). Both marks for continuous evaluation will be reported in August.
