Teaching methods
For Part 1, the material will be taught via lectures. For Part 2, each class is based on the prior reading of a scientific article illustrating the approach.
In connection with this first part, students will be required to complete a communication project.
For Part 2, the articles will be discussed in class. We will aim to provide examples and applications that go beyond the articles themselves. Please note: students are strongly advised to read the articles in full rather than relying on summaries from previous years.
Evaluation methods
The assessment is broken down as follows:
  • Group communication project (40%) + individual weighting via Dynamo. Failure to complete the Dynamo assessment results in a grade of 0/20 on the project for the student concerned.
  • Individual assessment covering understanding of the material from Part 1 and Part 2 (60%) – Written exam.
For the second session, an individual assessment covering understanding of the material from Part 1 and Part 2 (100%) is planned – Written exam.
Other information
The use of generative AI within the scope of the project will be strictly regulated and must be declared by the students. All prompts and generated outputs must be appended to the work.
