1. Fundability rules

The information contained on these pages is subject to modification by the French Community of Belgium. Only the Admissions Office may, on the basis of a complete application submitted online when applying for (re)enrolment, determine a student’s fundability.
General guidelines
The eligibility criteria are "progress criteria" that must be respected throughout your academic journey. Please note that you must meet all the criteria that apply to you, even those relating to previous years. For example, if you are in your fourth year of study, you must meet the criteria for the first, second and fourth years.
Fundability for the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees is calculated separately. This means it is possible to be non-fundable for the Bachelor’s degree and fundable for the Master’s degree. Please note the situation regarding the BAMA-15: you must meet even more criteria! If you are no longer fundable for the bachelor's degree, you will not be able to complete your master's degree, even if you are still fundable for the master's, as the bachelor's degree is a legal entry requirement for the master's.

In addition to the general guidelines set out in the table above, there are specific rules for different situations. Before drawing any conclusions about your eligibility for fundability, we advise you to check these: they may apply to you!
Specific rules
The various rules set out below modify the fundability guidelines. Generally speaking, and depending on your circumstances, they grant additional years of enrolment to meet the guidelines.
If you are eligible for several specific rules, you must add together the number of additional years granted to you and adjust the fundability guidelines accordingly.
