The workshop is structured in two parts: a theoretical session in the morning, designed to provide the basics of research data management, and a practical session in the afternoon, dedicated to assisting participants in completing their Data Management Plan.
Morning Session – May 29, 2026 (9:30 AM–12:00 PM) – in French
This session will offer a general and interactive overview of the key principles of research data management and open data.
The research support unit and Joëlle Desterbecq (Research Data Officer – ADRE and SCEB) will address issues related to the creation of data sets, their use, and their preservation. Also to be discussed: GDPR standards in our research, what a Data Management Plan is, the tools available to secure data repositories, as well as data management after the research is completed.
Afternoon Session – May 29, 2026 (2:00 PM–4:30 PM)
This session will be entirely devoted to practical guidance on completing the Data Management Plan.
Each participant is invited to bring their own computer to experiment with the tools presented and complete their own DMP with the help of the trainers. Participation in the morning session is recommended to ensure you have the necessary foundation.
