Reduce the environmental impact of the construction sector ?

On May 5, the “CIT Blaton” chair agreement was signed in the presence of CIT-Blaton representatives (Marc-André Gennart, Vincent Doumier and Eric Doff-Sotta), Rectrice F. Smet, the IMMC and LAB institute presidents (Aude Simar and Sergio Altomonte), the EPL and LOCI deans (Olivier Bonaventure and Catherine Vanhamme) and the head of the GCE cluster (Pierre Latteur). The Chair is part of CIT-Blaton's broader commitment to playing a leading role in reducing the construction sector's impact on the environment. The Chair will fund 2 PhDs over 5 years in the fields of recycling and reuse of construction materials (with Prof. Emilie Gobbo) and alternative reinforced concretes (with Prof. Joao Almeida and Pierre Latteur).
