I am a philosopher and historian of science and technology, working as Chargé de cours (equiv. Associate Professor) in the Institut supérieur de philosophie, the Louvain Institute of Biomolecular Science and Technology and the Faculté de philosophie, arts et lettres at the Université catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain), in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. I am the director there of the Centre de philosophie des sciences et sociétés (Center for Philosophy of Science and Society, or CEFISES). I am also a member of the Collegium of the Académie royale de Belgique, the Executive Editor of the journal Philosophy, Theory, and Practice in Biology, and Associate Editor of the journal Biology & Philosophy.


Je suis philosophe et historien des sciences, et Chargé de cours (équiv. MCF) à l’Institut supérieur de philosophie, le Louvain Institute of Biomolecular Science and Technology, et à la Faculté de philosophie, arts et lettres à l’Université catholique de Louvain à Louvain-la-Neuve, en Belgique. Je suis le directeur du Centre de philosophie des sciences et sociétés (CEFISES). Je suis aussi un membre du Collegium de l’Académie royale de Belgique, le rédacteur en chef de la revue Philosophy, Theory, and Practice in Biology, ainsi que rédacteur de la revue Biology & Philosophy.
