Présentation

Sonja Bitzer est titulaire d'un doctorat en science forensique de l'Ecole des Sciences Criminelles de l'Université de Lausanne. Dans le cadre de son poste actuel de chargée de cours à l'École de criminologie de l'Université Catholique de Louvain, elle développe l'enseignement et la recherche dans le domaine de la science forensique. Par ailleurs, elle a travaillé à l’Institut National de Criminalistique et de Criminologique (INCC) sur un projet visant l’amélioration de la digitalisation de certains processus forensiques. Sa thèse portait sur la contribution de la science forensique au processus judicaire, en mettant l'accent sur son utilité dans la phase d’investigation. Dans son étude postdoctorale, financée par le Fonds national suisse de la recherche, elle a étudié le rôle et la contribution des conseillers forensiques à l’INCC.
