Research Focus [30.0]

This focus provides an opportunity for advanced study of the literature and/or the linguistics of a Romance language. The courses and seminars are on special issues in linguistics or literature and provide training for research. You may draw up your own focus programme in connection with your dissertation.

OptionalOptional courses (maximum 5 credits)
Courses must be chosen where possible among those not yet taken in the masters of French and Romance Languages and Literatures or from those of another masters at UCL or another university with the agreement of the dissertation supervisor and the examination board secretary. If certain courses are also available in the core subjects or in an option course in this masters, these courses may not exceed 5 credits. No courses may be taken from the teaching focus or the professional focus.
