Programme structure

The Master comprises :
- core subjects : 36 credits for courses and 24 credits for the dissertation, including the preparatory seminar
- two focuses :
* a research focus of 30 credits
* a professional focus of 30 credits
- option courses : for the research focus, students may either choose the two option courses for 15 credits each, or one option course for 15 credits and optional subjects from the optional subjects list to gain 30 credits ; for the professional focus, students may choose one of the four suggested option courses : Management of care institutions ; Health and patient education; Community health policies or Clinical nursing.
The option courses in Epidemiology and clinical research and Research on health services are recommended for students who choose the research focus.
The option courses in Management of care institutions, Health and patient education and Clinical nursing are recommended for students who choose the professional focus.
There is no teaching focus.

Wathever the focus or the options chosen, the programme of this master shall totalise 120 credits, spread over two years of studies each of 60 credits


For a programme-type, and regardless of the focus, options/or elective courses selected, this master will carry a minimum of 120 credits divided over two annual units, corresponding to 60 credits each.
