On 9 December 1425, Pope Martin V signed the bull founding the University of Louvain. On 9 December 2025, exactly 600 years later, our university has celebrated this exceptional anniversary.
A unique evening dedicated to memory, social engagement, and the future took place at the Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles, in Brussels
Combining reflection and artistic creativity, this event offered a sensitive and inspiring look at who we were, who we are, and who we aspire to become.
Through exhibitions, stories, and testimonials, the highlights of 2025 were presented, staged in the various spaces of the Théâtre National.
