PRIX « JEUNES PHILOSOPHES DU SUD GLOBAL »
Le Prix « Jeunes Philosophes du Sud Global » a pour but de promouvoir la mobilité internationale de jeunes chercheurs du Sud global et d’encourager la coopération avec l’UCLouvain.
Le Prix est ouvert à des doctorants inscrits dans des universités d’Afrique, d’Amérique du Sud et d’Asie (liste précise des pays éligibles infra). Ce prix a pour but de rendre possible un séjour de 3 mois à l’Institut supérieur de philosophie de l’UCLouvain, dans le but de rédiger un article digne d’être publié dans une revue internationale avec comité de lecture. Le ou la bénéficiaire du prix pourra profiter des riches ressources documentaires de la bibliothèque de l’Institut ainsi que de suivi par un(e) membre de corps académique de l’Institut.
Le montant standard du prix est une somme unique de € 4000 euros qui peut être utilisée pour le voyage et le logement sur place.
Dossier de candidature:
- Projet d’article scientifique dans n’importe quel champ de la philosophie avec argumentaire et bibliographie (3 pages, 7500 signes)
- Curriculum Vitae
- Lettre de recommandation du directeur/de la directrice de thèse
- Preuve officielle d’inscription au doctorat

Conditions:
Être citoyen et admis dans un programme doctoral depuis au moins un an dans l’un des pays suivants : Afrique du Sud, Bénin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Bolivie, Cambodge, Cameroun, Cuba, Ethiopie, Equateur, Guinée, Haïti, Indonésie, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Maroc, Mozambique, Népal, Niger, Ouganda, Palestine, Pérou, Philippines, RD Congo, Rwanda, Sénégal, Tanzanie, Tunisie, Vietnam et Zimbabwe.
« GLOBAL SOUTH YOUNG PHILOSOPHERS » PRIZE
The « Global South Young Philosophers Prize » aims at fostering the international mobility of young researchers of the Global South and to encourage cooperation with UCLouvain.
The Prize is open to PhD candidates based at institutions in Africa, South America and Asia (precise list of countries below). This prize is intended to facilitate a 3-month stay at the Higher Institute of Philosophy at UCLouvain, for the purpose of drafting an article publishable in a peer-review journal. Successful candidate will benefit from the use of the Institute’s rich library resources and the mentoring by a member of the Institute’s academic staff.
The standard award amount is a lump sum of € 4000 which can be used for travel and accomodation.

- Official certificate of PhD registration
