I'm a political economist working at the intersection of feminist political economy, diverse economies, and social movement studies. Based at UCLouvain (Belgium), my research examines feminist economic activism, and specifically, how feminist businesses navigate, contest, and sometimes transform capitalist logics from within. Before entering academia, I worked across journalism, political communication, and feminist businesses in Europe and the USA; these experiences inform my qualitative, meaning-centred approach to economic life. I'm particularly interested in questions of activism and legitimacy within feminist movements, the politics of work and survival, and how we might theorise economic transformation beyond the co-optation paradigm.
