“Shoebox” initiative on your campus

We are organising a collection of festive “shoeboxes” for the subsidised grocery shops on our campuses. The aim is to create New year gift boxes containing products that beneficiaries can enjoy over the holidays.

Shoebox contents:

• festive hygiene or beauty products:avoid white-label products
• non-perishable festive food: toast, tapenades, chocolate, non-alcoholic drinks, ...
• a holiday greeting card with a note
• a little extra gift : a game, a decorative element, or any other creative idea, ...
• avoid fragile objects; make sure they are well-protected
• packaging: gift-wrap the box; consider using zero-waste gift-wrap
• boxes are not gendered

Please note: no alcohol in the boxes

Boxes will be collected during de New Year's receptions:

• At Mons :
  • On Thursday 15 January 2026, at "the Faculty", between 12pm and 2pm
     
• At Louvain-la-Neuve :
  • On Monday 19 January 2026, at the Aula Magna, between 12pm and 2pm
     
• At Brussels Saint-Louis:
  • On Wednesday 21 January 2026, at the Agora, between 12pm and 2pm

These times don't suit you? You can also drop off your parcel at the reception desk of the University Halls in Louvain-la-Neuve between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m till 21 January.
