A new Erasmus Mundus international master’s at UCLouvain: the TFM-ASA
uclouvain |
The Louvain School of Engineering takes a new step in the international outreach of its engineering programmes: the TFM-ASA Master (Transfers-Fluids-Materials in Aeronautical and Space Applications) has just been selected for Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) funding by the European Commission.
Developed in partnership with the University of Bordeaux and the Brandenburg University of Technology (BTU), this excellence programme offers students a unique education in mechanical and aerospace engineering, combining academic expertise, international mobility, and strong ties with the industrial world.
Throughout their studies, students will successively be enrolled in the three partner universities and benefit from:
- integrated mobility across three European institutions;
- a joint degree recognised internationally;
- attractive EMJM scholarships;
- and strong involvement from industrial players in the aerospace sector.
This selection represents major European recognition for the programme partners. Securing an Erasmus Mundus is a rare and demanding achievement; hosting three such programmes within a single faculty — the Louvain School of Engineering, with the FAME and STRAINS programmes — highlights the growing quality and reputation of UCLouvain’s teaching and research in engineering.
