Greet Angèle De Baets is a linguist specialising in communication, with a focus on organisational and intercultural communication across diverse communities in a broad sense. Drawing on extensive experience in academia and industry (including profit, non-profit, and governmental sectors), her work offers value to the academic field of intercultural communication and the development of intercultural competence.
Her doctoral thesis, which she defended at Ghent University in 2024, explored innovative approaches to intercultural business communication training, specifically through the lens of aikido — a Japanese martial art — as a form of embodied pedagogy.
