I am Professor of Translation Studies and English–French translation at UCLouvain, where I serve as Head of the Louvain School of Translation and Interpreting (LSTI, formerly Marie Haps). The LSTI offers master’s programmes in specialized translation and in conference interpreting, including sign language interpreting (LSFB).

My research focuses on translation quality evaluation, machine translation post-editing (MTPE), MTPE training, pricing methods in the language services industry, income satisfaction among freelance translators, and empirical translation studies, particularly learner translation corpus research.
