On May 22, the Earth and Life Institute is delighted to welcome Doctor Lukas Egli for an ELI Sustainability Talk entitled "Sustainable agri-food systems at the local scale: Community-Supported Agriculture in Germany".

Dr Lukas Egli works at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research, in Germany.

He has published high-impact work revealing the importance of crop diversity, asynchrony, and landscape structure in stabilizing global and national food supplies. 

He will talk about a new line of research where he has shifted scale to study the impact of alternative food networks on the environmental, economic, and social outcomes of agriculture.

You are cordially invited to take part in this seminar, to be held on May 22 from 16:15 to 17:15 in auditorium SUD03 (Croix du Sud, Louvain-la-Neuve).

After the seminar, participants are invited to join the de Serres building Cafeteria for a complementary drink and meal. Please note that registration is required.
