Marco Abbadini, post-doctoral researcher in the Category Theory research group of the IRMP, has been awarded the 2026 “Paolo Gentilini Prize”, established by the Italian Association for Logic and its Applications (AILA).
The prize recognises outstanding research achievements by early-career scholars in mathematical logic and related areas.
The selection committee highlighted in particular Abbadini’s contributions to categorical dualities and algebraic logic, and their relevance to the study of non-classical logics.
The award is part of AILA’s efforts to promote excellence and support emerging researchers in the logic community.
