28 May 2026The SMCS platform proposes an introduction to the Python programming languageAt the end of this training course, which will take place from July 8 to 10, you will be familiar with the syntax and the main data structures of the Python programming language. You will be able to create standard or specialized graphs and develop your own Python functions. -
2 June 2026Dreze lecture by Raj ChettyOn June 12, 2026 at 2pm in Louvain-la-Neuve (Aula Magna) Raj Chetty will give a presentation on: The Social Origins of Economic Opportunity: Theory and Evidence. Raj Chetty is the William A. Ackman Professor of Economics at Harvard University and the Director of Opportunity Insights, which uses big data to study the science of economic opportunity: how we can give children from all backgrounds better chances of succeeding? Chetty’s work has been widely cited in academia, media outlets, and policy discussions in the United States and beyond. -
